A prayer update and a?praise and thanks to God for answered prayers.? Thank you Jesus.

Wrex Hauth?came home from the hospital late last night. We picked up Ms Gracie Adams on the way and she is staying with him.?

For those of you who do not know Wrex, he is a Great Banquet?member, whose first Cursillo was I believe in the late 1950s.?Wrex is a retired Navy Chaplain, VA Memphis Chaplain and?current Pastor at International Baptist Church Memphis.?IBC is a small church in downtown Memphis and does not have a large congregation. Most of its members are older.?Wrex is 79 and still serving the Lord with a passion. He is the sweetest, dearest man of God, I have ever met or had the priviledge of knowing.

Wrex has been preaching Gods Word since 1954. If you live in the Millington/Munford/Atoka area and would like to minister in this time of need?to this dear man?who has ministered to so many for so many years, please?call 901-870-1875. ?Wrex is in pretty good health, he just needs encouragement to finish the race before him right now and maybe the occasional meal and fellowship from brothers and sisters in Christ.

Wrex was run down. He? wife, Bettye, helpmate?of almost 58 years died this past Valentines Day. All of the stress and strain of this?last ?year or so had finally caught up to him. Wrex has two sons living but both?reside out of town. One of his sons had a liver transplant this last year as well and glory to God, he is doing well.

While in the hospital this past week,?Wrex got much needed rest, His spirits are rising, his pnuemonia is dissipating, his neuropathy improving, his shoulder was injected and doing better, he had a cyst on his chest?lanced and that is being treated, medications were changed?and he?has been gaining strength day by day.??

God's hand was at work each?and every day this last week and was?with Wrex and all of his care givers in the hospital . Glory to God.

Your prayers are so greatly appreciated.

Jim McKissack
