Dear GB/Awakening Community & especially the ladies of GB #51 Team,<br><br>I want to thank each of you for agreeing with me in prayer for my grandfather and his battle with cancer. Just to give you a quick background, he was diagnosed with colon cancer a couple of years ago. The doctors had to do a complete removal of his colon and he endured chemo/radiation/etc. He was in remission for a short time but his levels never really returned to normal. His cancer indicators remained elevated and eventually, the cancer showed up. The colon cancer had metastasized to his liver. He had three tumors...two small and one large. The doctors determined surgery and radiation in addition to more chemo would be necessary. However, when they opened him up, they found he had cirrhosis of the liver that had never been diagnosed caused by Hepatitis C he had contracted many years earlier. Too much of his liver was dead, so they had to leave the largest tumor in his liver. His liver and body would not be able to recover from the shock of removing over half of his liver when so much was already dead from the cirrhosis. We were all told that they would use other treatments in an attempt to shrink the tumor and prolong his life but no guarantees were made. He went to visit some friends and family he hadn't seen in a while and prepared to not make it through next Christmas.<br><br>Well, I have been praying (along with many others) for his comfort as he goes through treatments and that there would be more good days than bad days. I want to thank each of you who chose to go above and beyond my request for comfort and asked for complete healing instead. About 2 weeks ago, God reminded me that He is still the Ultimate Physician and that He can still heal the physical body if He so desires despite what the doctors said. So, in response to God's chastising of my faith and trust in Him, I started praying for healing for my grandfather. Unknown to me, my Mom was also face-to-face with the same crisis of belief and began praying for his healing as well instead of just peace and comfort. Well, Friday morning, my grandfather had a follow-up PET scan. Monday afternoon, my mom sent me the news that the scan showed NO VISIBLE SIGNS OF CANCER & THE TUMOR THEY LEFT AFTER THE SURGERY WAS COMPLETELY GONE!!!!!!!!! They will continue his remaining chemo treatments in order to eradicate any microscopic cancer cells that may be present in his body, but I know there is nothing left. God has answered our prayers according to His will and His purpose and in order to show His full glory!!! He is still the Ultimate Physician and He is still the God of Miracles!!! He is our Jehovah Raphe - the God who HEALS!<br><br>I thank you all again for trusting Him to heal my grandfather and appreciate your continued prayers as he shares his story with others who need to see God's glory in the midst of their own sufferings and pain.<br><br>Love you all in Jesus,<br><br>Amber Weaver<br><br><div>
